Worship
HIGHER- Experiencing God in Worship... It's the first part of our vision statement at Elevation Church. Everything changes when you experience God's presence in your life and worshipping Him is one of the ways we meet with God. We are committed to worship in a huge way. Psalm 33:3 says "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy." We are commited to bring excellency in worship through the avenue of music. Why should the body of Christ not have the most excellent music out there? Well it's time for the church to "play skillfully" before the Lord and thats exactly what we try to do at Elevation. We have some outstanding musicians and God is is adding musicians all them time. If you're interested in being involved in some way let us know! We not only need more gifted musicians but also skilled sound and video techs as well.
Whether it's practing in a garage or doing a worship outreach in a school gym, God has inspired us at Elevation in the way He moves in hearts through worship. As Christians, our connection to God is amplified so greatly when we spend time worshipping Him. That worship can be your car, taking a jog listening to your ipod, or corporately at church. During our services worship always plays a huge part and we give the Lord liberty to take us in whatever direction that he wants us to go. God is alive and active in our lives and in our meeting times and we never want to be so locked into a "service agenda" that we miss something great he wants to do in our lives that particular time.
